Unconventional

Ivano Icardi

Unconventional explores the meeting point of melody, improvisation and a rhythm section built on acoustic double bass and drums. Elio Rivagli and Riccardo Fioravanti join Ivano in a trio that moves between intimate passages and more forceful, progressive textures.

Written and produced by Ivano Icardi, the album includes Ambermoon, Amarcord and Ines. Recorded, mixed and mastered at Skyline Studio in Turin.
